PRE REGISTRATION

I'm trying to register for the Academy Membership Site but my unique link says it's expired! +

First of all make sure you're using a laptop or desktop, not a phone or tablet and using an updated browser (ideally NOT Internet Explorer or Safari!)

Then, please copy/paste the link into your URL bar, rather than clicking it. This is important because sometimes your email address with 'mask' the link to protect you from viruses etc, but that will corrupt the link and make it appear to be 'expired'.

If you have tried both of these, and are still getting an error message, just send us a note to info@melwells.com and we will just give you a new link, no problemo! 🙂

I've registered for The Academy Membership Site but haven't received a password! +

First step is to wait 24hrs from when you first registered. Sometimes it can take a little while to come through, depending on who you have your email account with.

 

Then you need to double check your Spam, Promotions and Trash folders. These notifications are often mistaken for Junk by your email provider and sent straight there.

Still no email? Go to the Academy Login Page, and click 'Forgot Password?' and follow the instructions. A password reset email will be with you within the hour. Remember to check your Junk/Spam folder!

Still no luck? Email us at info@melwells.com and we can manually reset things for you.

TECH SUPPORT

I've requested to join the Facebook Group but I'm still waiting, how do I get in?! +

We'll always do our best to get you in as quickly as possible, but we have to check your name off our 'Members List' first, so please allow at least 24hrs and if you sent a request over the weekend, hold tight until Monday when we're back in the office.

If your name on Facebook is different (you have a nickname, business name or are using your married/maiden name) to the one that you registered with, or that's on your Paypal account, let us know by emailing info@melwells.com with the subject "My Name on Facebook" so we know that you're you!

I don't think I've been receiving all the Academy emails, can you help? +

First of all, are you checking the right email account? Might sound silly, but we often have two or more email addresses that we've used for our Paypal account etc and then another for our personal mail. All your emails will be going to whichever address you registered with!

Double check your Junk/Spam - and then add academy@melwells.com and mel@melwells.com to your contacts or Whitelist.

If you've done both of those, then email us and we can check! info@melwells.com

Double check your Junk/Spam - and then add wordpress@thegreengoddessacademy.com to your whitelist. It's all automated, and the email always, always shows up. Sometimes it can take a while but it's often instant - so if you've waited an hour and it's still not in your Inbox, start hunting because it will be in Spam, Trash or Promotions somewhere.

If you've done both of those, then email us and we can reset your password manually! info@melwells.com

WITHIN THE ACADEMY

I'm having trouble watching the videos, they keep stopping. +

Firstly, are you using a laptop/desktop computer and not a phone or tablet? It always works better on a proper computer.

Secondly, we've heard from a few Goddesses having this problem and have thoroughly looked in to it, our conclusion is that it's a bandwidth and buffering problem and not everyone is experiencing the same problems, nor having the videos stop in the same place.

All you can do is go somewhere with a better internet connection, make sure you're using Wifi rather than 3G and press 'Play', then 'Pause' on the video to let it load before you press 'Play' again to view the whole thing.

 

I'm having trouble downloading the Module Materials/Audios. +

Firstly, are you using a laptop/desktop computer and not a phone or tablet?

We've found that whilst you can usually download documents and audios directly to your phone on some Android devices, you can't do this with Apple products (iPhones, iPads etc) You might be able to open documents in Kindle, or add them to your Dropbox account if you use that app!

The easiest way to download your course materials, is to use a laptop/desktop computer and then print them, or add them to whichever device you'd like to use them on.

I noticed my post was deleted within the Facebook Group - can you tell me why? +

This doesn't happen very often, but we do sometimes remove posts. Here's a few of the reasons why:

  1. It was selling or promoting something.
  2. It was a meme, quote or other 'entertaining' image without a meaningful post attached. That belongs on your own Facebook profile, or on Instagram with the #GGAcademy hashtag. This is the most likely reason that your post was deleted.
  3. It was necessarily negative, or would shamed/upset another Goddess. This is really really rare, but please understand that we aren't censoring your stories and feelings. We WANT you to come to the group and share how you're feeling - it's a safe space for you. However, if it was a post that was insulting another Goddess's choices, then we would have removed it.
  4. It was a tech support question. Always send tech support questions to academy@thegreengoddesslife.com. Once we've pointed you in the right direction, we'll remove your post to keep the feed clean.
